Caitlin McClatchey added to the Loughborough medals with silver in the 200m freestyle & bronze in the 100m freestyle. World record holder, Liam Tancock, faced formidable opposition in the 100m backstroke from Randal Bal (USA) and paid the price for a poor start by having to be content with the silver medal. Liam went on to take bronze in the 50m backstroke event. For several swimmers the meet was the culmination of a hectic few weeks which saw them compete successfully in Rome and then complete a rigorous training camp in Sardinia. | | | Fogg takes 1st Open Water medal |
